At least three people were killed and two others were injured when a helicopter crashed into the sea off the coast of Hawaii on Thursday.
According to the Kauai Police Department, dispatchers received a call around 3:45 a.m. that a helicopter had crashed into the ocean near Kalalau Beach.
The helicopter was operated by Airborne Aviation, carrying a pilot and four passengers, officials said.
Officials confirmed in a news release that three people died in the crash. Two others were taken to Wilcox Medical Center for treatment.
Two people died after their helicopter struck a power line and collided with a barge on the Mississippi River.

The crash site, located on the north coast of Kaua’i, is a popular spot for helicopter tours, offering views of the cliffs, beaches and waterfalls along the Na Pali Coast.
