So far, you have already heard that some companies want to change human workers with AI. Now, CEO of one of the largest AI companies is warning that AI may soon come to your job.
In an interview with Exios, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodi said that AI can “erase” all entry-level white-collar jobs. Amodi, who ran the OpenAI contestant behind the chatgate rival cloud, said that as a result, the loss of the job would cause the spike in unemployment 20 percent more in the next five years.
Just this week, mashable Covered a new reportT which was found that AI is already affecting the number of entry-level jobs in the technical field and in return, young people who are only graduates in the workforce.
However, Amodi is saying that it will be much worse than that.
Is the upcoming AI trimmed “bloodbath”, or is it more AI promotion and dumorism?
According to Amodi, he is now speaking because he feels that it is the responsibility of AI companies to warns people. He says that governments and other AI contestants are not taking it seriously or making AI aware of the possible issues that AI will bring.
Mashed light speed
Amodi wants the government and AI companies to stop “sugar-koting” which is potentially on the way.
And what’s on the way? “Technology, finance, law, counseling and other white-collar businesses, eradication of jobs in especially entry-level gigs, say Amodi.
In the interview, Amodei addressed how he believes AI would bring huge benefits such as treatment and other medical successes, as well as a growing economy. However, negatives are not only being addressed with the urgency that they should be, according to AMODEI’s comments according to Axios.
In a post on Bluuski, however, billionaire Mark Cuban disagreed with the anthropic CEO assessment.
“Someone needs to remind someone that the CEO was more than 2m at one point,” Cuba wrote“There were also separate employees to do in office dictation. They were original white collar displacement. New companies with new jobs will come from AI and increase the total employment.”
While Amodi did not directly address Cuba, he referred to AI Scaptics in his interview, believing that AI companies are inserting their products’ abilities with these scenarios.
For now, at least some companies have felt that they jumped guns when they changed humans with AI. Last year, buy now, pay service later Klarna started In place of Human customer service representative with AI. Just this month, the company shared that it has been made Mistake And wanted to appoint his human workforce back.
