Jerusalem: Israel said on Sunday that the soldiers stayed in the West Bank refugee camps for the coming year, announcing extended military operations, including the deployment of tanks, after tens of tens of Palestinians.
A month ago, the army launched a major raid against Palestinian militants at West Bank, when a truste started in Gaza Strip and a truss in Palestinian region.
Israel’s operation at West Bank spreads several refugee camps near the cities of Genin, Tulakaram and Toubas.
“So far, 40,000 Palestinians have extracted from the refugee camps of Genin, Tulakaram and Noor Shams, which are now empty from the residents,” Defense Minister Israel Katj said in a statement.
He said, “I have instructed (soldiers) to be prepared for prolonged attendance in the camps cleaned for the coming year and to prevent the return of the residents and the revival of terrorism,” he said.
According to the United Nations, Israel’s aggressive has so far killed at least 51 Palestinians, including seven children and three Israeli soldiers, as well as displacing at least 40,000 people.
On Sunday, Israel’s army stated that “a tank division will work in Genin as part of” expansion “operation in the area. This is the first time the tank has operated in the region since the end of the second INTIFADA, or the end of the rebellion in 2005.
Katj’s statement said that “Nahl (Infantry) Brigade and (Elite) Duvadavan Unit Force has started interfering in other villages”
The statement came two days after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a rare journey of soldiers in the region, ordered the army to pursue its operation in the West Bank, which Israel has captured from 1967.
His visit to the Tulakaram refugee camp attracted Palestinian condemnation.
‘Leveling the entire roads’
Netanyahu’s announcement came after bombs that Israeli officials said that they meet people used by terrorists in West Bank, who had exploded several vacant buses in Central Israel on Thursday, without any injury.
“We are entering terrorist strongholds, leveling the entire roads that terrorists use, and their homes. We are eliminating terrorists, commanders, ”Netanyahu said.
In both Tulakaram and Genin, the army has demolished dozens of houses with explosives, opening the new access route into densely camped camps.
The armored bulldozers have wreaked havoc, uprooted the Termac, cut the water pipe and tore the roadside aspects.
Violence in West Bank has increased since the war in Gaza in October 2023.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 900 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers or settling since the onset of the Gaza War, including several terrorists since the Gaza war began.
According to Israeli official data, at least 32 Israel in Palestinian attacks have been killed in Palestinian attacks or during the same period during Israel’s military operations.
