On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Outfront”, Chicago Alderman Biren Sigcho Lopez responded to firing in the city saying that “We have many, many examples where the administration has actually increased, has increased violence in our country, in our inner cities.” And “What we have not seen is actually a systemic investment that will actually address the main issues.”
Host Boris Sanchez asked, “And how you answer, Alderman-I heard you that you have to do more work to tell you-how do you answer the argument that there were something like 50-plas shooting-53 people, 52 people, I was shot in Chicago, I was shot in Chicago, 30 different shoots, which still have a problem?
Sigcho Lopez replied, “Well, I think what we need to do, that is, we also had a collective shooting in a Catholic school. We have many, many examples where the administration has actually increased, has increased violence in our country, trying to work like within us. DC, Chicago, and what we have seen is really a systematic investment that is really a systematic investment. [has] Visited cities like Chicago for prevention of violence prevention programs? The $ 200 million Trump administration is stopping for drug abuse programs. I think it has to do a lot to distract the public and distract at the time when the American public needs a solution. ,
