Former American men’s football star Landon Donovan did not reveal the words as they reacted to the loss of the League of the US ConcacAF nations for Canada in the third place.
Canada defeated America, 2–1. The Americans ended their Nations League run with two consecutive defeats-coming against Anya Panama, who knocked them in the third place match instead of going for the Nations League title.

The American men’s football team was exposed due to its youth talent, but no coach is able to unlock the ability to create real waves on the global stage. The US failed to make an impact in Copa America in the last summer, which eventually ended the tenure of Greg Berahaltar.
The current coach Maurisio Pocheto was hired for a push for the 2026 World Cup, but the deficit on his arrival has thrown cold water.
Donovan was heard by hearing about talent on the roster.
Donovan wrote on X, “I am very ill to hear how this group of players is ‘talented’ and all they are amazing clubs they play.”
Pocheto said that if the team is struggling after a year from now, then the alarm rings, but he was not ready to do so yet.

USMNT needs more than its biggest star Christian police: ‘I’m not happy with my output’
“All this is a process that we need to change, and I don’t want to say that I am happy – don’t take me wrong,” Pochtino said. “But if some negative (A) results about (A), to learn something, it’s better now, because I think we have time.”
Fortunately for Americans, the US is already in the World Cup in 2026, as it is hosting the program. Pocheto said that there is still time.
“We were not able to find our strategy and expand our strategy for the team, the ability to play in another way,” Pocheto said. “I think we have time. I like it today, and not in a year.”
The US is 5-3 since Pchethino took over.
