Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) praised President Donald Trump and US military on Thursday during A press conference after a classified briefing on Iran, declared the United American Israeli Mission a historic blow to Tehran’s atomic ambitions, a historical blow to the media and the Democrat’s efforts to reduce the success of the operation.
Cotton said, “I want to appreciate President Trump and his national security team and our brave and skilled pilots and their employees for brilliantly executed missions.” “We have hit a major blow with our friends in Israel against Iran’s nuclear program, one that is going to make America safe, secured our friends in the region, and to protect the world from the risk of an Iranian nuclear weapon over the years.”
Cotton also condemned the leakage of an initial defense intelligence agency report that critics have used to doubt the effectiveness of the strike.
He said, “This report was initial, was done with less confidence, and was done with several intelligence intervals,” he said. “It considers a worst situation for Iran with the right circumstances.”
He cited the assessment of the political spectrum, including the United Nations Nuclear Watchdog chief Rafael Gosi, former arms inspector David Albreight, and the intelligence giant criteria of the Obama era, which described all the operations as “terrible damage” and Iran’s nuclear program “years.”
In a special statement by Breitbart News, Cotton said: “Media focuses on focusing more focus than accepting President Trump than accepting the reality that this strike was a success. This terrorist was disastrous for the Iranian rule, and President Trump’s leadership has made us all safe.”
Cotton claimed that the ceasefire would organize only when Iran enhances its end of the deal.
“If Iran starts trying to attack Israel again or try to attack American interests again in the region, both the President and the Prime Minister have said,” Well, we have to go back and we will have to show Iran once again that we mean business. “
When asked about disappointments inside the administration on leaks, cotton admitted that he did not talk to the authorities about excluding the press from future briefing, but understood their concern.
He said, “This report was leaked only a few hours after being sent to the Congress, obviously by someone who wanted to keep our pilots and their employees and the President and their national security team in the worst light,” he commented. “I don’t know that it came from Congress. I don’t know if it came from anyone inside the administration to protest the President’s policy.”
Asked if the two sides were “satisfied” with disadvantages, cotton replied, “I think you have to ask some of our democratic colleagues. I suspect that people who are satisfied will not say a lot. Those who are dissatisfied will continue to talk.”
Cotton said Democrats were given extensive access to top officials, including State Secretary and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Defense Secretary PT Hegseth and President of Joint Chief General Can.
“Some Democrats -Media – Something – is the case of the Trump Dererangment Syndrome that they are inherent to the existence of Iran’s nuclear programs, vs. Vs are celebrating the success of our pilots and their employees, but I think the reply they received should be completely satisfactory.”
When asked about Iran’s location of rich uranium, cotton replied, “I have no comment on it. I would say Mission impossible Movies.”
