Popular messaging tools like WhatsApp, Telegram, Teams and Slack are promoting new mobile devices and web applications threats. This cyber security company is in accordance with the 2023 Business Communication Risk report from Cybercard Cyber. About half (42 percent of) of organizations reported new security incidents related to employees with their own equipment using messaging apps in a commercial environment. What is more, the report has shown that 66 percent of the danger indicators are found in transient messages associated with cloud-based cooperation equipment.
The report is based on ownership data collected from safe cyber platforms between January 2023 and October 2023.
Last year, researchers found spinok malware in several Android apps, which were downloaded more than 30 million times. Following an investigation by Cyber Security Company Claudsac, the Malware-Reddled Apps were discovered on the Google Play Store.
The development of cloud-based cooperation equipment creates a new attack category
The proliferation of cloud-based cooperation equipment and new individual/commercial device crossover has read a new attack category-business communication compromise (BCC), report.
