Pentagon’s press secretary John Allotot advocated a shot in the former chairman of Mark Mile, former president of the joint heads, as he spoke about the new review of the physical fitness and grooming standards of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
“Unfortunately, the high standards of the US Army on body composition and other matrix were erased in recent years, especially during the tenure of Mark Mile, the President of the former Joint Head, who set a bad example from the top through his own individual corporates. Secretary Hegseth is committed to restoring high standards, and the first step in reviewing,” Fox News has been said to be.

After the review, the secretary expressed concern that fitness standards have been erased, and questioned whether mismatched standard for men and women affect the readiness.

Hegseth promised in January, “This is reviewing the first things that we will be part of one of the first things in the Pentagon, that the standard and qualifications ensuring the gender-plated manner are front and centers.”
In December 2015, the army opened all fighter roles for women. Shortly before being tapped as a secretary, in a podcast interview, Hegseth said that America should not have women in war roles. ” But during his confirmation hearing, he clarified that in ground fighter roles, women should meet the same standards as men.

“Whether it is a man or a woman, they have to fulfill the same high standards,” he said. “In any place where those things have been erased, or the syllabus or criterion has been replaced to fulfill the quota. This is the kind of review that I am talking about. Not that women should have access to ground matches.”
The review may probably change the combat fitness test of the army, which is currently scored under age and gender-specific requirements. It became the Army’s standard fitness test in 2023, after a physical fitness test of decades which applied the same standards on men and women.
In the current test, the age of men is two miles in 22 minutes at the age of 17-21, and women of the same age do it to 23 minutes and 22 seconds.

The Army and Navy offered pre-boot camp training for those who did not complete physical fitness or test scores. But those recruitments had to meet similar standards to graduate and serve from training courses.
“When I was in the army, we kicked naked women for tattooed on our arms, and today we are relaxing the standards on shaving, dredalkrock, man buns and straightforward obesity,” Hegseth fought over Warriors in his book.

“The piece by the piece, the standards had to go … because of equity,” he said.
Seva branches have begun to allow soldiers to play separate hairstyles, due to the members of the female service in large parts who argued that the constant tight, low bun was leading to hair loss. In recent years, the army has begun to allow corners and twists following the arguments of the members of the women’s service that hairstyles were cheap and easy to maintain.
