After receiving pushbacks from the US and Israel, the $ 53 billion-supported scheme for Gaza’s reconstruction has received support from France, Germany, Italy and UK.
Foreign ministers wrote in a joint statement, “The plan shows a realistic path for the reconstruction of Gaza and promises – if implemented – the Palestinians living in Gaza have a rapid and sustainable improvement in the event of having a frightening situation.”
Foreign ministers called for a post -plans based on “a solid political and security structure”, but reiterated the need for Hamas to not be able to operate Gaza. Additionally, European leaders stated that they are supporters of the Palestinian Authority (PA) “central role” and “implementation of its reform agenda” in post -war Gaza.

Trump Gaza cling to the rehabilitation scheme, as the White House rejects Egyptian proposal
The 53 billion dollar Egyptian plan was as a counter for President Donald Trump’s US takeover idea and Cairo rejected the idea of accepting displaced ghazans for “national security” reasons. While Trump’s plan will resume Palestinians outside the strip, Egypt’s proposal focuses on the Palestinian -led reconstruction efforts.
Both the US and Israel have rejected the Arab -backed scheme for Gaza reconstruction. Israeli’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Oren Marmorsstein said in a statement that the plan “fails to address the realities of the situation after October 7, 2023, which lies in the old views.”

Pressed by Trump’s Gaza Yojana, Arab countries meet in Egypt to discuss alternative proposals
Marmorstein’s statement also criticized the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) for their dependence. He says both PA and UNRWA have “repeatedly demonstrated corruption, support for terrorism and failure to resolve the issue.”
While the American Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witchoff called the plan “Good Faith First Step”, State Department spokesman Tami Bruce told reporters that it “does not meet the requirements, what is the nature of what President Trump is asking.”
Additionally, National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes expressed concern about the plan in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“The current proposal does not address the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabited, and the residents cannot live in an area involved in human being debris and unexplained armament. President Trump stands from Hamas to rebuild Gaza -free Gaza.”
