- Lunar Base Alpha, a four -acre fake lunar landscape, in Animas, New Mexico, on September 20, will be characterized by housing, rovers and educational opportunities.
- The project incorporates two telescopes from the assets of Clide Tomba, allowing their original 16-inch and 18-inch Newtonian telescope to publicly look at the astronomical objects.
- The event will include the day-to-day solar observation and during the night time at selestial objects, such as whirlpool galaxy, ring nebula and Shani during its ring-plane crossing.
- The event began at the central time of the afternoon on 20 September and concludes at 9 am on September 21, and it includes food for the first 50 RSVPs through the “Mars NM -Off -Wroun Experience” Facebook page (active 5 September).
On Saturday, September 20, an ambitious project will be announced and celebrated in Animas, New Mexico, near the Arizona border. And you are invited. Dub “Lunar Base Alpha”, it will repeat the lunar landscape and conduct science experiments and houses to Rovers, in which you will be able to live in it. The initial project will cover four acres of land with a lot of room for future expansion.
Designer will offer both site and remote learning opportunities for schools, but adults visiting Lunar Base Alpha will also be able to detect several aspects of it. And the community around it – already started growing – will become a hotspot for astronomy, art, original American history, mineral science, and more.
Terra Mars Productions led by the Pam Price of F5 themeing and design are crafts the first prototype houses using state -of -the -art 3D printing technology. The price is known to create a spectacular destination around the United States, including Harry Potter’s Wizarding World for Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.
If this is not enough, then the value is planned for a uniform martian landscape, once the lunar base alpha is up and running. It is called Mars, New Mexico, and will cover eight acres of land. With lunar base alpha, there is a lot of land to expand in the future.
Astronomy, too
Such as the lunar base alpha and mars, the New Mexico projects were not enough, there is a tie-in for another planet at the location. Many years ago, the creators acquired two telescopes from the property of Pluto explorer Clide Tomba. And although the telescope structures were in a situation that did not allow them to save them, large mirrors that used toba – in a 16 -inch diameter and other 18 inches cross – are perfectly usable. In fact, if you come into this event on 20 September, you will be able to see the celestial objects whose light will be collected by those mirrors – that’s the same then Tombag used to scan the sky from his home in the Las Cruce, New Mexico. what a thrill!
The 16 -inch new neutonian telescope has an F/10 mirror ground, which itself is imposed by Tombbo itself, and polished. The 18 -inch Newutonian Scope uses the F/4.5 mirror given to Tombo by New Mexico State University. Both telescope kits were manufactured by Tony Cowdre, an artist with F5 themeing and design, and the new estrosystoms are placed on Dobsnian Mount.
But even such large telescopes do not show until they are in a good place. And the lunar base Alpha is one of the best sky in the nation. Not only this is dark, but the air above it is remarkably stable, there is a need if you expect to see details in galaxies and nebulas.
And, provided it is clear, we will see a lot of Shopis Celestial Objects. These will include whirlpool Galaxy, The Ring Nebula and Saturn. If you have never seen Saturn through a large telescope, then this vision will be worth drive alone. Currently, the planet is undergoing a ring-plane crossing, when, from our perspective, rings appear on the edge. It will not be again for another 15 years, so come out and see it.
On the 20th…
If you are navigating by GPS, the program will be held in 10 Washburn Drive, Animas, New Mexico. It will start from the central time of the afternoon and end at 9 am the next morning.
Special guests include David Icher, Editor Emeritus Astronomy Magazine, David Levy, Committees Shomekar-Levi and Tombose Biography Writer’s Co-Khojar and New Mexico State University Astrophysics Department.
Various sites will have tourism, Tombo’s telescope tourism, day solar observation, and, of course, along with both 16- and 18-inch telescopes as well as other fun activities.
Lunch on 20th and dinner, and breakfast will be provided on 21st. RSVP on “Mars NM-of-World Experience” Facebook page. This link will be active on 5 September. You will be able to book RV site, tent camping, or a cabin (if available).
This is a free phenomenon, and it includes food. He said, the camp site and food are limited to the first 50 WHO RSVP.
I will live there, perhaps indicating constellations and bright stars. I hope you will also see.
