Google exchanged the icon of Gemini apps on iPhone and Android, 9to5Google. A four-point star used to have a blue shield from a purple, now there is a rainbow shield, which reminds the Google logo with yellow, green, red and blue.

Star points are also more round than older logo. In addition to the new app icon, 9to5google writes that this new star is depicted on the home screen widget on Android, but not the iPhone. The Gemini website also currently has old blue and purple.

However, Google Mithun’s Instagram account has also started The New Look. This change makes Gemini a more part of Google “Family”, as all other products logo – such as search, chrome and google play – offer all similar colors.
