For the second year in a row, the Grammy Awards declined in ratings, largely due to declining youth viewership.
On Sunday, only 14.4 million people watched a show that regularly attracted 25 to 40 million viewers from 2016 to 2019.
Sunday’s 14.4 million represents the fourth-worst rating in Grammy history, ahead of 2021’s 9.23 million, 2022’s 9.59 million and 2023’s 12.55 million.
The far-left awards show — which has become a celebration of hate against normal people who believe in God, love their country, vote Republican, keep kids safe from demonic trans cults, and want border security — rebounded slightly in 2024 with 16.9 million viewers. But then another dive began. Viewership dropped to 15.4 million in 2025. Apparently, this decline continued this year too with one million fewer viewers.
This is an 11 percent decline from last year and a 20 percent decline from two years ago.
The best news – at least for those of us who hate the over-privileged, hateful bigots who protect pedophiles and murderers from deportation – is that most of the decline in viewership has come from the very young people the music industry (and advertisers) want most.
This year’s Grammys saw a 13 percent decline in viewers aged 25-54, a 19 percent decline in viewers aged 18 to 49 and a 20 percent decline in viewers aged 18-34.
After this year’s debacle, where winners like Billie Eilish and Bad Bunny turned the show into a communist fight session, it’s hard to see future broadcasts returning to ratings glory.
The lying entertainment media will blame streaming and the pandemic, even though broadcasts began to return to respectable ratings in 2024, three years after the pandemic, even though the Grammys posted huge numbers from 2016 to 2019, well into the streaming era.
The problem with the Grammys is the same problem as with almost everything coming out of Hollywood these days… there’s nothing funny, enjoyable, or inspiring anymore.
There was a time when I watched the Grammys, and I remember them as pure entertainment. Great music, a charming and likable host, polite winners, and no one had to be on alert for a political silly punch.
What was particularly amusing about this year’s show was that it seemed as if each winner was scrolling through their phone in the limo on the way to the show to find out what “the new thing” is that they need to care about. Three months ago, winners might have been outraged over the White House renovation or President Trump calling a piggy lady a “piggy.”
These people do not believe in anything except conformity.
How do I prove my compatibility?
How do I confirm my place in the in-group?
How do I prove my loyalty to the cult?
Instead of entertaining the public, the Grammys, like the Oscars and everyone else, choose to lecture, embarrass, and insult the public.
Nobody wants to see him.
