The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a top Hamas commander responsible for the brutal October 7 attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz has been killed in a targeted drone strike.
Abd al-Hadi Sabah, who led the incursion into Kibbutz Nir Oz that devastated the community near the Gaza border on October 7, was killed in the western Khan Yunis battalion on Tuesday local time.
The IDF said in a release on social media on Tuesday that they carried out the intelligence-based attack in conjunction with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA).
The agencies said Sabah was hiding in a shelter in the designated humanitarian zone in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
