This wide image of a famous supernova relic in the Nakshatra signus is a ghostly beautiful goose song for a huge star.

- A supernova explosion from a huge star occurred about 2,400 years ago.
- Its light reached Earth about 10,000 years ago, which looked bright compared to Venus.
- The remains of the explosion are now seen as veil nebula.
- The Hubble Space Telescope captured a wide image of a part of the veil nebula.
About 10,000 years ago, a new star appeared, which we now recognize as Scigas the Swan. It was light from a supernova explosion that occurred about 2,400 years ago, when a star with a star of the Sun ended his atomic fuel. This caused the core to collapse, trigger a shock wave, which separated the rest of the star. When the light reaches the Earth, it shone bright than Venus and will appear during the day; Today astronomers saw the remains of the veil of the star as a veil nebula, a glowing cloud of gas that extends to 3 °, the diameter of the full moon six times.
The Hubble Space Telescope captured this small part of the veil located near the south -east edge of Nebula. The image combines the light emitted by hydrogen, sulfur and oxygen atoms.
