The statement also stated that three additional hostages will be released on Saturday as part of the agreement.

Israel confirmed that Hamas handed over a list, in which the status of the hostage to be issued in the first phase was specified. Local media also reported that the number of people living in the list and dead hostages was specified, although the names were not included.
Israeli officials claim that most of the remaining 26 remaining hostages are alive, matching with the list of Hamas.
Netanyahu’s office also stated that Israeli would allow Palestinians to return to the northern part of the Gaza Strip starting on Monday morning under an agreement with Hamas.

Netanyahu reiterated that Israel would not tolerate any violation of the agreement between the two sides, stating that he would continue to push for the return of all the hostages, dead or living.
Similarly, the White House issued a statement on Sunday afternoon, stating that the arrangements between Israel and Lebanon would be monitored by the US and will be effective by 18 February 2025.
The statement said, “The Lebanese government, the Israeli government and the United States government will also start dialogue for the return of Lebanese prisoners after October 7, 2023.”
