Jerusalem: The Israeli army announced on Thursday that 700,000 Palestinians have fled from Gaza City since the end of August as its aggressives have intensified.
Contacted by AFP, the army confirmed that from the northern city to the south of the Gaza Strip, “700,000 Palestinians have been evacuated”.
The United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA said on Thursday that 388,400 displacement movements were recorded from Gaza City, with the highest origin, since Middle August.
The United Nations estimated at the end of August that about one million people lived in the city of Gaza and its surrounding areas, where it has declared a famine.
Israel launched a major air and land aggressive at the main urban center of Palestinian region in its declared mission to exclude Hamas after a war of almost two years.

After the strike at the Al-Javada camp, the AFP footage showed the Palestinians searching for the remaining people through debris.
“The whole place was destroyed and nothing was left for human use,” the resident Yusuf Younis said.
Another al-Javida resident, Ahmed Abu Dahruj said: “Our message is war, should end immediately because we are experiencing a destruction.”
According to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry, in about two years, Israel’s military criminals have killed at least 65,502 Palestinians in Gaza.
