Kelly Clarkson turned her latest show into a celebration of love as she returned to the stage of her Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas for the first time since the death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
On Friday night, the 43-year-old singer stopped her concert at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace to help a couple get engaged during her first full performance since Blackstock died of skin cancer in August at the age of 48.
In a video of the show posted on TikTok, a fan was seen proposing to her boyfriend by getting down on one knee in the front row of the venue, while Clarkson pulled out her microphone and enthusiastically yelled, “Say it louder!”

“Yes—-!” the partner shouted into Clarkson’s microphone before becoming emotional as she accepted her ring.
Clarkson smiled and said, “It’s so sweet!” Before the newly-engaged couple embraced and kissed each other while the crowd clapped and cheered.
The couple, who said they were French and visiting from their home in London, told Clarkson, “You’re now invited to the wedding!”

The “Since You Been Gone” hitmaker jokingly warned the couple before congratulating them to “do me a favor and ignore this next song.”
“Just be in the moment, hang out there, you know what I’m saying?” He said. “Maybe go to the bathroom!”
“I don’t want to mess up your parade,” Clarkson said.

Later in the show, Clarkson hosted another romantic moment when she helped a couple renew their wedding vows after ten years of marriage.
“You made it a decade? F—yeah, look at that,” she said in a TikTok video.
When the couple handed Clarkson a paper containing their vows and requested her to read it, the three-time Grammy Award winner joked that she was not allowed to officiate. However, Clarkson stepped into the role with ease and took a cheeky dig at one of her fellow “The Voice” coaches.
He quipped, “If Blake Shelton can do it, anybody can do it, they’ll make anybody do it.”
Shelton and Clarkson worked together for several seasons on “The Voice” and were known for their playful banter and good-natured rivalry. The 49-year-old country star has officiated weddings before, including the 2024 wedding of Clarkson’s former father-in-law Narvel Blackstock and his wife Laura Stroud.
“Do you two promise to keep dancing together for the rest of your lives – it’s amazing! – offbeat or not, at least for the next 10 years?” Clarkson read. “F—that – 50, 60. Aim higher!”

“Unfortunately, I have to postpone the remaining August studio session dates in Las Vegas,” the singer captioned an Instagram post at the time.
“Although I usually keep my personal life private, last year the father of my children became ill and at this time, I needed to be fully present for him.”
