The US Army Major General Kartis Taylor, Commanding General of 1 Bakhtarband Division wrote in a statement, “We are taking advantage of every available us and Lithuanian property to coordinate and provide the resources required for this effort.”

The third Infantry Division of the US Army is keeping the families of the Soliders updated on the search.
“The weight of this tragic situation is heavy on all of us, and we are keeping the recovery team in our soldiers’ families, friends and teammates and our thoughts and prayers,” Taylor wrote. “We want everyone to know that we will not stay until our soldiers are found.”
President Donald Trump on Wednesday told reporters that he was not informed about the missing soldiers.
The training site is less than 6 miles from Belarus, a Russian ally since independence from the Soviet Union in 1990.

The Catholic country, Lithuania, will hold a joint prayer on Sunday at its main church, Rajdhani Cathedral, and host a mass to missing soldiers.
