French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday faced X to declare his intentions for France to recognize the “Palestine State” at the United Nations General Assembly next September.
“French people want peace in the Middle East,” Macron shared in a letter and translated into English on X. “It is above us, to display with French, Israel, Palestinians and our European and international partners that it is possible.”
A letter addressed to the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority claimed that “peace is possible.”
Macron, in his argument for the move of France, cited the need of a “immediate ceasefire” to the people of Gaza with the release of all hostages and humanitarian aid. He also claimed that Hamas should be reconstructed in his letter and rebuilding Gaza.

Israeli officials responded rapidly and rapidly.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement, “We strongly condemn the decision of President Macron to recognize a Palestinian kingdom next to Tel Aviv in view of the 7 October massacre.”
“Such a step rewards terror and the risk of creating another Iranian proxy, such as Gaza. In these situations a Palestinian state will have a launch pad to eliminate Israel – not to live next to it. Let’s be clear: Palestinians are not looking for a state with Israel; they seek a state instead of Israel.”
Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin “promoted a black stain and terrorism directly on the history of France.”
He said: “Israel’s land belongs to the people of Israel, and even the announcement of President Macron will not change.” Levin called Israel to implement sovereignty to Judea and Samaria and Jordan Valley, calling it “a justified and historic reaction to the shameful decision by the President of France”.

Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli addressed Macron directly in a post on X, writing on behalf of the Israeli government and attached a viral video that seems to be the French first female Brigit Macron slapping the President.
Cassette member Avigdor Liberman also condemned the move, writing on X: “A Palestinian state recognition is a reward for terror and an incentive for Hamas – an organization that has done the worst massacre of the Jews since the Holocaust. It is not justice, it is a dedication to terror.”

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said, “Neither international conferences in the United Nations have disconnected from reality nor would they take unilateral statements to peace.” “Macron’s decision to identify a Palestinian kingdom after the 7 October massacre and at a time when Hamas is still hostage, is a derogatory reward for terrorism. Anyone who ignores the reality on the ground – that Israel has no partner for peace – not only damages Israel, but also the stability of the entire field.”
The letter was given by the French Counsel in Jarsulam, which announced through X that “France would move forward with full recognition of the state of Palestine in September.”
France has recently taken faster measures against Israel in the Middle East in a peace battle in the Middle East.
Earlier this week, France signed a joint condemnation with more than 20 other countries about the death of 800 Palestinians reported in Gaza at aid sites.
“We will achieve peace,” Macron concluded.
