Peter Navaro, senior counselor of the White House for trade and manufacturing, told a reporter on Tuesday to “stop that rubbish” while questioning President Donald Trump’s shifting tariff policy.
Navarro, after confirming this, spoke to the press that Trump had announced an increased tariff of 50% on Canadian steel and aluminum that day. However, tariffs will not be implemented as Ontario Premier Dug Ford suspended 25% overload on power exports to America
A video posted on X shows that Navaro is rapidly disappointed with a reporter on the subject, leading to the front and backwards between the two.
“… The President is interacting strategically. So stop with rhetoric. Okay? Just stop that nonsense,” Navarro asked a reporter before trying to raise another question.

“But he is changing his mind all the time,” said the reporter.
“Stop that nonsense! It’s a group of nonsense,” Navarro replied.
Navaro tried to ignore the reporter, who recognized himself as working for Sky News UK, until he said “facts” that “every day was changing his mind” on Trump Tariff “.
“This is a conversation, my friend,” Navaro repeated because they started speaking over each other.
“Is it right. So that does it not mean? So it’s part of all conversations? And it is causing havoc for the stock markets,” the reporter commented.
“This is not the cause of destruction,” Navaro stressed.
“Okay, this is, they are tumbling,” the reporter argued.

Other members of the press began shouting questions, seeking “back up” and “stop”.
“I am allowed to ask questions for those who were not out of here. Do you not believe it is causing havoc for the stock market?” The reporter can be heard asking.
“Because here what we can do,” Navaro replied, warned all reporters. “I can either stay here and answer your questions, and you can be civil about it. Or you can hectare me in this way. So stand back. Take that thing out of my face. You have got a chance to ask questions. I will answer some other questions.”
After this, Navaro raised a question from another reporter.
