Pope Francis was in critical condition after suffering from a asthma respiratory crisis, the Associated Press reported citing the Vatican.
The Vatican said in a statement quoted by the Associated Press, “The holy father continues to be cautious and spends the day in an armchair, although there is more pain than tomorrow. The pregnancy is reserved at this time.”
88 -year -old Pontiff has been hospitalized for more than a week due to respiratory infection. The doctors later diagnosed Pope Francis with pneumonia.
