Over the years, we have seen the rise of new types of AI, including generative and agents. How do you see 2025 and beyond developing AI?
Looking at 2025 and beyond, I hope that AI will be even more autonomous, competent and integrated into deepening business processes. According to our research, we surveyed 41% of technical leaders whether General AI is already changing its organization or will be within the next year.
In addition, we are seeing an increase in organizations adopting agent AI, self-guided AI models that can execute complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention. In fact, by the end of 2025, Deloite estimates that at least one -fourth of the business using generative AI will deploy AI agents, and by 2027, this number can be doubled by 50%.
One of the best ways to feel the benefits of AI within your organization is to ensure that stakeholders trust with your perspective to technology. In our 2025 Tech Outlook, we saw out the outfits we labeled as “Trust-Birds”. What do we mean by trust-fielders? These are organizations that are not only using AI, but are doing it in a way that instills confidence with their customers, employees and partners.
They are giving more emphasis on data, governance and security, reducing hallucinations and giving priority to transparency with employees around the goals. The top third of organizations receiving their expected ROIs from Trust-Bilders General AI are 18 percent more than others to rank in the top third, such as innovation, development, productivity, cost reduction and increased efficiency.
As AI becomes more powerful, it is necessary that organizations educate consumers, maintain moral standards and build AI systems that are fair and reliable. This is an important part of the future of AI, and one that each business leader should keep the top in the mind.
How can emerging technologies such as agentic AI and quick computing be done, the way businesses continue to change the way of operating the businesses in less and long -term?
One of the most exciting areas I am seeing is how AI agents are changing business workflows. For example, we can imagine a world where a sales team now does not have to spend hours in research on lead or drafting proposals. AI agents will autonomize these tasks, freeing employees to focus on strategic initiatives.
In industries such as software development and regulatory compliance, Agentic AI is already making a difference. These AI-operated systems can automate complex, multi-step processes, ensuring that businesses more efficiently operate with more accuracy. In this way, companies integrating AI will see a significant competitive advantage in both short and long term.
Another game changer has rapid computing. AI-specific hardware, such as advanced semiconductor and special AI chips, is making it possible to process data much faster than ever. This is important because such as AI systems are more complex, they require more computing power to operate efficiently. Businesses investing in this infrastructure will now be better deployed to avail AI-operated innovations in the future.
What are some of your biggest takeaets after this year’s CES? Was there any specific innovation or technological development that you are the most excited about?
There is no doubt that AI took the center stage in CES 2025. The show was flowing through what we saw on the floor, which highlights its transformative effects in industries. The spotlight agent was on AI and how it is transferring AI to the active problem-compensation from the passive assistant.
For me, CES 2025 confirmed that AI agents are not only reactive, but re -define our interaction with technology. AI has moved towards becoming an embedded experience. Think about it to turn on a light switch without thinking about electricity: Now you can see the task and focus on the hand.
