
According to Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD), one person was released after several buildings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and two others were injured.
In a post on X, the fire department of the city revealed Before 5 o’clock in the morning, the fire department officials responded to a report of an explosion and that two injuries occurred and “one gave fatal notice.”
PFD wrote, “Before 5 in the morning, we responded to an explosion at Bristol Saint in Nichatown.” “It became a reaction to all hands. There are 2 injuries and sad, one reported the deadly.”
PFD acting executive head Daniel McCarti revealed that according to NBC News, three row houses were “exploded”.
McCarti said that the fire department had located two “elderly women” in local hospitals, one of which was “important”, and one of which was “stable”.

The fire department later stated that a person was killed in the blast. The authorities did not give any details about the victim.
McCarti said that the house has “secondary collapse”, which is considered “source of primary explosion”, stating that at least five row houses have been affected.
According to 6ABC News, residents were allegedly evacuated in about “10 nearby houses” and “directed for a nearby shelter”.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherael Parker expressed that she was “deeply saddened by the explosion” which happened and said “the tragedy remains under active investigation”.
“I am deeply saddened by the explosion that happened today in Niktown section of our city,” Parker wrote In a post on X. “A Philadelphian has died of injuries. Two more individuals are being treated at @Templeuniv Hospital. The victims – and Bristol Street and each neighbor nearby – are in our prayers this evening.”
