A Democratic Senator, an anonymous speaking for Politico, said Shumor’s plan was rejected.

House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffrees, DN.Y., on Friday answered questions whether he had faith in Shumar as a leader.
During the press conference, Jeffreys were asked if there was a new leadership time in the Senate, to which he replied, “Next question.” Jeffrees later asked if he had “lost confidence” in Shumar.
The top house Democrats were questioned twice directly about Shumar during a hasty press conference to emphasize their opposition to the Republican government funding bill.
Shumor’s office did not immediately respond to the request of comment from Fox News Digital.
