Senate Democrats allegedly planned to introduce a bill that will prevent the penalty ban on military service for individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria.
According to an ABC News report, Democrat MP wants to stop the US Defense Department through “Fit to Sarva ACT” to the US Defense Department.
If passed, the law will prevent the Defense Department from the need of military service members to serve according to their biological sex.
However, it remains to be seen how far the bill will move forward, given what the democrats and an independent have co-proposed it, while the Republicans control both legislative and executive branches of the federal government.
The policy is the result of an executive order signed by President Donald Trump in his first day office. The rule came into force in early May after the Supreme Court pronounced the verdict, although the ban faced legal challenges in lower courts.
Earlier this year, the Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth released a memorandum stating that “people who have current diagnosis or history, or display symptoms are incompatible with the high mental and physical standards required for the sex dysforia military service.”
In the new Pentagon policy, members of the transgender service needed to be self-identity by 6 June and then started the process of resignation. Meanwhile, the Transgender National Guard and members of the Reserve Service still have the same action to complete the same action by 7 July.
ABC News said that due to the passage of June 6 already passed, the Pentagon has started the process of abolishing the members of the transgender service who did not voluntarily resign.
Sen Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the major sponsor of the bill filed in the Senate on Tuesday, President Trump’s executive order claimed to ban military service for those who believe that they have adverse sex “makes us less safe.”
With Sen Warren, the “Fit to Sarva Act” is coponsed by the sensor. Mazie Hirono (D-Hi), Tammy Duckworth (D-Al), Kirsten Gilibrand (D-NY), Tammy Baldwin (D-Wi), Ed Mark (D-Man), Ron Wyden (D-Morkle) Hollen (D-MD), Burney Sanders (I-VT), Andy Kim (D-N), and Kori Booker (D-NJ).
In addition to prioritizing the removal of the removal of President Trump’s military service members as opposite sex, Sen Van Holene is also advocating illegal foreign Kilmar Abrego Garcia, one accused MS -13 gang member, wife -beatters and human trafficking, who were given to Lalvador in March.
Abrego Garcia is now back to the United States, where he faces allegations of human trafficking.
