Broadcasting of the “Special Report” of Fox News Channel on Thursday, Education Secretary Linda McMahon said that the states need to give federal money directly to the parents and let the parents choose schools.
Host Brett Bair asked, [relevant exchange begins around 6:25] “Why send money to states for states like California, New York, Illinois, who conservatives say that there was not a great track record? States do not send money as a pass and then they should give money to parents and they should take the instructions of schools and their choice?”
