Shadows have fascinated astrologers, psychologists, and spiritual seekers for decades.
Originally derived from Carl Jung’s understanding of the psyche, the term has become entangled with ideas Mystery, traumaAnd, in astrology circles, with signs like scorpio or like planets Pluto,
But the shadow doesn’t mean – at least not in the way its father and original architect, Carl Jung, defined it.

, traumaWhile security is pushed into the unconscious, the shadow does not sit at the core of the process.
…and under Pluto’s UnderworldThere is no shadow – it cannot be, because in the absence of light nothing can cast a shadow.
Unlike secrets, which are deliberately kept out of sight, unlike trauma, which is often a sensitive, yet empirically rooted part of our inner world – The shadow is completely unknown to us,
We are not aware of our shadow.
When we say “shadow” or “I have met my shadow,” we are actually referring to repressed psychic material, taboos, compulsions, or wounds – all areas of who we are. semi conscious Or can be reached with effort – but we are not in the shadow area.
The nature of shadow is that it is invisible to our awareness. Once the shadow comes into our awareness, it ceases to be a shadow in the first place.
So what Is Then shadow?
From a psychological perspective, the shadow is the parts of ourselves that we project outward when we cannot catch them consciously.
The key word here – almost synonymous with shadow – is launch,
Projection is what makes us feel irritable, react suddenly, feel critical, or even feel disgust. this is us can not stand In others.
Shadow is also what we find attractive in others. We can’t help but be attracted to people – who are unavoidably so – who display qualities we don’t yet possess.
Both our attraction and repulsion arise from the same source: Those parts of us that relate to ourselves but are outside our conscious identity.

If we want to understand the Shadow astrologically, we want to focus on the chart dynamics that produce the projection in the first place: the Descendant and the 7th house, polarities, oppositions, and an opposition in all of our charts: the Moon Nodes.
