Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made nearly 1,000 arrests on Sunday, according to various ICE field offices, with much of the activity occurring in the Southeastern United States.
The agency said law enforcement officials arrested 956 people and recorded 554 detainees, meaning there is “probable cause to believe the individual is removable from the United States under federal immigration law.”
The Ice Field Office in Miami, Florida shared details behind the arrests of five of the illegal aliens – three in Florida and two in Puerto Rico.

Both of those arrested in Puerto Rico were residents of the Dominican Republic, and one was charged with domestic violence, while the other was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
A Nicaraguan national was arrested in the Broward County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm in public and driving with a suspended license.

A Jamaica resident was arrested with charges for possession of oxycodone, displaying a firearm during the commission of a felony and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, while a Mexico resident was booked into the Martin County Jail on a traffic Was charged with crimes and convicted of multiple DUIs.
