Soybeans are almost unchanged with partial losses in Thursday morning trade. Futures rose late Wednesday, with contracts closing up 6 ¼ to 16 ¾ cents. Open interest on Wednesday was down 701 contracts. CmdtyView’s national average cash bean price was up 17 cents to $10.98. Soymeal futures were down 70 cents at $2.60, with soy oil futures up 90 to 137 points.
The White House said on Wednesday that President Trump is going to China for a rescheduled meeting with Chinese President Xi on May 14/15. Press Secretary Levitt also said the US looked forward to hosting Xi in DC later this year.

Export sales data will be released this morning, with sales for the 2025/26 crop expected to range from 200,000 to 500,000 metric tons. Sales of the new crop are expected to be between 0-100,000 metric tons. Meal sales are estimated at 150,000-400,000 metric tons, with bean oil in the net cut range of 20,000 metric tons to 24,000 metric tons.
