We have to wait a while to see the 10th Test flight of Spacex’s Starship MegarCket.
Spacex planned to launch Starship Flight 10 from its Starbase Site in South Texas this evening (24 August), during an one -hour stretch which started at 7:30 pm (2330 GMT). But exactly 17 minutes before that window opened, the company shut down the things.
SpaceX announced a post with EDT (2313 GMT) at 7:13 pm on Sunday, “In a post on Spactx, in a post on Spacex, standing below today’s tenth flight in a post on Spacex, EDT (2313 GMT) in a post on Spacex.
Starship is the largest and most powerful rocket ever, which is longer than 400 feet (122 meters) when completely piled up. It consists of two elements, both are designed to be completely and fast reusable-a booster known as Super Heavy and called an upper-step spacecraft called starship, or a ship for a short.
SpaceX is developing starships to return to the Moon and to help settling on Mars amidst other tasks. NASA has tapped the vehicle for its Artemis program to be the first crew lunar lander, and plans to use starships for astronauts on the Earth’s nearest neighbor in early 2027.
But Starsip has a way to go before blowing such a mission. Vishal rocket has done nine test missions to date, all of which have been launched from Starbase.
Three of those flights were removed from this year – respectively in January, March and May. On all three liftoffs, the ship experienced serious problems; The explosion occurred 10 minutes after being launched at Flight 7 and Flight 8 and broke on reventry for the Earth’s atmosphere at Flight 9.
The target of flight 10 will be similar to flight 9. SpaceX plans to bring a super heavy down to the Gulf of Mexico about 6.5 minutes after the launch and guided the ship for a controlled splashadown in the Indian Ocean, away from the coast of Western Australia.
The ship is also considered to deploy eight dummy versions of SpaceX’s Starlink Internet satellites during its trip and do an engine-relief test in space.
