The National Recognition Office (NRO) launched its ninth mission using a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket supporting its so -called proliferated architecture satellite constellation.
The NROL-192 dubbed mission also marked a large milestone for Spacex. This will be the 400th launch of the pre -blown Falcon Booster.
This is the third launch ever in 2025. PDT (EDT, 1225 UTC) took place on Saturday, 12 April on the Space Launch Complex 4 East at 5:25 am on the Space Launch Complex 4 East at the Wandenberg Space Force Base.

Falcon 9 First Stage Booster The Flying the Mission, Tail Number B1071, was launching for the 24th time. It had previously supported the NRO, three rideshare missions and four missions for 14 starlink flights.
Eight minutes after the liftoff, the B1071 landed on a droneship, ‘Surely I still love you.’ The 430th landing of the first phase of boosters to date.
A word from director
On Saturday morning flight from the Western range comes after about 11 months, when the NRO is called the world’s most capable, flexible and technically advanced satellite constellation “. This adds further abilities to the agency’s reconnaissance, monitoring and ability to operate the intelligence assembly.
Made of constellations is considered as Starlink, a government version of Sparex’s Starlink. In a video statement shared on 8 April, Scoles described the launch of May 2024 of the NROL-146 mission as “establishing a new standard for data collection, speed and accountability”.
“This enhanced constellation is already shortening the revision time and increasing observation firmness; providing extended coordination, and rapid data processing, fusion and transmission speed empowering. All with more flexibility and safety.”
“From the most depth, we are making it hard to hide for our opponents, while our customers reduce the time for insight from minutes to seconds – when it is necessary to strengthen national security with better possibilities for incompatibility.”

Without going into the firm nuances, Scoles said that in the last eight missions supporting the constellation, SpaceX launched more than 150 satellites from the NRO.
Scoles said that the NRO is working to increase its launch rhythm and announced that the ninth and 10th missions for the constellation would be launched for a few days in April. Nearly a day later, the agency announced the launch dates planned for NROL-192 and NROL-145 respectively, respectively.
On 16 April, between the two missions, the NRO has another mission from Wandenberg. It is a separate, classified mission that will fly on a four-phase, Northrop Gramman-Made Minotaur 4 rockets.
Scoles said that the purpose for NRO in his direction is not only to deploy a comprehensive diversity property and abilities to the classroom, but also to increase investment in various ground systems and to expand the NRO’s partnership. The latter is a notable target for an agency, which was back in 1961, a secret, classified agency that was not known to the public until it was disintegrated on 17 September 1992.
“My third commitment was to expand the partnership of the NRO throughout the government, and to mile the unprecedented level of expertise within each group with commercial space enterprises, academics, and our colleagues,” said Scoles.
“This partnership is yielding increased capabilities in areas ranging from electro-optical to radar and other events. We are benefiting from our risk for world-class expertise in areas such as AI, machine learning, quantum sensing, computing, cyber security and launch.”
According to the press kit of the NROL-192 mission, NRA plans to continue its launch for its spread architecture through 2029. It was announced that the next two missions would be NROL-145 and NROL-48, of which the latter is not yet a launch date.
NRA has also not said that if all proliferated architecture is launched, the SpaceX Falcon will continue to fly specially on 9 rockets or if it will use the vulcan rocket of the United Launch Alliance, then it is now prohibited for national security missions, or a new gonn rocket of Blue Origin, a barrier, also receives the government’s enlightenment.
