When a small band of self-declared devilists announced that they would organize a “black mass” in front of the Canasus State Capital, they wanted to provoke Christians. And they did, but it was not with the type of fire he intended. He managed to galvanize thousands of Christians with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Across the state, Catholic and their fellow Christians spent more time in praying on Friday, as they are normally. Special people and holy hours were held in Catholic churches in every corner of Kansas for employed sacrifices in the capital.
Thousands of people gathered to pray peacefully on the capital ground, beating the fist of devilish by several orders of magnitude. Therefore, when the devilistic peaceful Christians were shouting, they did not look powerful or pointed. They looked rather pathetic.

Earlier that morning, Catholicvot led a group in prayer outside the capital, which was later expected to avoid potential chaos. I asked the crowd that how many of them would have operated for hours to pray outside the state capital on a random work day for hours from Kansas? Nobody, of course. And yet they were – in Lent on Friday, no less – focused on giving glory to God.
This is a classic example of how God makes beautiful things with our ugliness and chaos, responds to us to darkness with light with light. As it is said, when life gives you lemon, make lemonade. Or in the case of devilists, saints are made.
