The general service administration, the agency that manages the federal government -owned buildings, is planning to close its entire network of the electric vehicle chargers.
The GSA allegedly operates a network of hundreds of EV Chargers with a total of 8,000 plugs, which can be used to charge vehicles owned by the government and federal employees. A source told The Verge that federal workers would get guidance to close those chargers next week, some regional offices had already asked their chargers to take offline.
Earlier this week, Colorado Public Radio received an internal email stating that the charging stations at Denver Federal Center would be closed as they “missions are not significant.”
