Washington: US President Donald Trump announced a plan to talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming days about the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Trump said that he intends to discuss possible measures to prevent conflict during his upcoming negotiations.
The President revealed these plans last month after his highly promoted meeting with Putin in Alaska, which led to limited progress towards the conversation of the ceasefire.
Trump said about his planned discussion with the Russian leader, “I will talk to him in the next few days and I will know what is happening.”
An announcement was made amid international efforts to find a diplomatic solution for Ukraine’s struggle. – Reuters
