The Trump administration has asked top officials in the FBI to resign or lose their jobs, Fox News has learned.
The exact number has not been disclosed, but the ultimatum was allegedly former director, Christopher A. Under Ray, senior employees promoted were given.
President Donald Trump’s administration took these steps as a nominated person to lead the bureau, Kash Patel said that he would not start his term with vengeance or focus on previous offenses.
Patel said in the Senate Judiciary Committee, “I am not interested, no desire and if not confirmed, go backwards. There will be no politicization in the FBI. There will be no retaliation,” Patel Said to the Judiciary Committee.

According to The New York Times reporting, an email of one of the senior agents underlined that he had learned that he would be rejected “from the FBI role”.
He wrote, “I was not given any argument for this decision, as you can imagine, came in a shock,” he wrote.

During the hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Patel said that he is unaware of any scheme of vengeance by the Trump administration.
“Do you know about any plan or discussion that in any way to include FBI agents or personnel involved in trump investigation?” Democratic Sen Corey asked Booker.

Patel replied, “I don’t know about it, the senator,” Patel replied.
Although Patel is nominated, a director has not been officially confirmed to take charge, so the news of ultimatum was worrying for the people involved.
Bryan remains the acting director of the Driskal Bureau until the vote comes close.
The FBI refused to comment on arrival by Fox News.
