President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed the Post Phentenail Act in the law, which permanently schedules fantanel-related substances as Schedule I Drugs.
Trump held a signature ceremony in the eastern room of the White House, which was attended by some 200 people, including Americans, who have lost a loved one for phentanel poisoning.
Before signing that law, which makes Schedule 1 listing permanent for fentinyl-related substances under the controlled substance act, Trump spoke to those in appearance. Those who had lost a loved one for the fantanel, stood behind them, caught pictures of their fallen family members or friends.
Trump said with applause of 17 seconds:
Today, we take a righteous blow to drug dealers, intoxicating smugglers and criminal cartel, which we have all been listening to a lot for so many years … and we take a historical step towards justice for every family, which is touched by the Phantenile Scorge, as we saw in the Halt Fentenance Act in the law.
Trump blown the former President Joe Biden for “Open Borders Knightmier” that “floods with our country with Fentanile” and illegal aliens, and he highlighted several steps taken to secure the border since he took office.
“One day of the Trump administration, we declared an all-out war on dealers, smugglers, smugglers and cartelons,” said Trump.

Seagal, who established the voice of Victoria, shared his daughter’s heartbreaking story. She also shared that her sister died of a fennel poisoning in a single day, who died in April 2025, her husband, businessman David Seagal, who was living with cancer.
“That day, when my sister came to know from my husband’s passing, he had a line of cocaine, which he felt that he was cocaine, and it was a fantanel. So I lost both in a single day, and it’s a very fat time,” he said.
