Qualampur: U Mobile SDN BHD has received the official letter of the award from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the deployment of Malaysia’s newly new 5G network.
Chief Executive Officer Wong Heng Tuck said that the mandate inspires the company to play an important role in advancing the government’s goal of making Malaysia a regional digital economy leader.
He said that U mobile will provide a better experience through its enterprise-grade next generation (Next-Jen) 5G network.
He said in a statement today, “We are committed to support the country’s digital change by supporting 5G adoption and Malaysia becoming a high -income digital nation.”
Wong said that with a track record for more than 17 years, U Mobile is confident of giving a state-of-the-art next-jewelery 5G network.
The company also welcomed the government’s vision for the 5G double network, stating that it would increase the stability of the industry by promoting competition and innovation, keeping Malaysia at the forefront of technological advancement.
