Victoria The Secret on Tuesday revealed that a security incident related to technology systems had temporarily shut down its website for a few days last week.
The company stated that it shut down the corporate system and e-commerce website on 26 May and immediately implemented the response protocol to prevent and prevent unauthorized network access. Its website was restored on 29 May.
The lingerie manufacturer said that Breach did not affect its financial results for the first quarter or causes a material disruption in its operation, but can be hit by additional expenses incurred after the incident in the second trimester.
It also stated that it expects the first quarter selling and adjusts the income per share for completing the high-end of its earlier forecast or more.
Victoria Secret, however, delayed the results of its first quarter on 5 June, stating that the process of restoration of its website prevented employees from reaching some systems and the information required for the release of the results.

Cartier told customers on Tuesday that its website was hacked and some clients were stolen, according to an email seen by Reuters.
The incident of Victoria Secret also impressed its name and some works in the pink store, the company said, saying that they have now been restored.
