This feature called message summary, is currently rolling out in English language for users in the United States, plans to bring it to other regions and languages later this year.
WhatsApp uses a Meta AI to present the until the until hesitant and quickly summarize the additional messages in a chat in a chat, so you can guess what is happening before reading the details in your until you read the details. “
The message summary is optional and disabled by default. Meta -owned service stated that users can also enable “Advanced Chat Privacy” to choose which chat can be shared to provide AI -related features.
Most importantly, it is possible by private processing, which was launched back by WhatsApp in April, which was as a way to enable AI capabilities to a privacy-conservation manner.
Private processing is designed to process AI requests within a safe environment called confidential virtual machine (CVM) on the cloud, installing a safe application session between an unnatural HTTP (OHTTP) connection between the user’s device and the reliable execution environment (TEE).
The company reiterated that the technology stops any third-party including meta and WhatsApp, from view of the real message material to generate summary.
“No one else in chat can see that you have summarized the until the until you presented the unlimited messages,” said this. “This means that your privacy is preserved all the time.”
