
YouTube will soon integrate Google’s latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) -Pover video generation model, CEO Neil Mohan on Wednesday announced at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025. It will support better video generation abilities run by the recently released VO3 video generation AI model by Mountain View-based tech veteran. It is said that users are enabled to create an AI-generated background and video clip for shorts, providing better video quality along with greater upgradation.

In a blog post, CEO Neil Mohan said that YouTube is already providing creators with powerful AI tools such as Dream Screen who are supercharged creativity by allowing AI backgrounds and video clips for shorts platforms. The video-streaming company Google Deepmind’s recently launched VEO 3 video generation model will increase it by integrating it.
With the support of the audio, the quality of the video generated is expected to improve. YouTube says it will be introduced “this heat”, although there is no definite timeline for its arrival.
In May, Google I/O was introduced in 2025, the Veo 3 supports the native audio generation, which includes ambient sounds, background noise and dialogues. In addition, video generation models are also asked to improve quickly, real world physics and accurate lip syncing.
The company official also highlighted how AI Prasads of YouTube are helping to break the obstacles. Auto dubbing, which translates the video into nine languages, has been used to expand the access of more than 20 million videos since the arrival of the feature on the platform six months ago.
In particular, Canva also recently added a new text-to-video tool, which is powered by Google’s VO3 model. Create a video clip dubbed, this feature allows users to generate a video clip with cinematic video rendering and native audio generation. Once a video arises, it can be corrected using several tools in the video editor of Canva.
Create a video clip canva is part of AI suite and thus, only available to the paid customers. Currently, the company has set an initial range of five video generations per month, but it is working on expanding its abilities.
