I am constantly testing Various iPad cases. While I am working, I always return to Loditech Combo Touch. With an adjustable kickstand and a viosya keyboard, it has everything I need. The Zagg Pro Keys 2 mimics many capabilities of Loditech accessory, but at a low price, so I was excited to try it, thinking that I could find a new favorite. Sadly, it decreases.
This is not completely the same as the Loditech case – it is much more protective, with a folio cover that is doubled as a kickstand (with adjustable angles) and a vioazable keyboard that sits in the middle. There is no trackpad – which means that I have to pack a mouse or continuously raise my finger on the screen – and the entire setup is heavy and clunk. At $ 150, it is one of the more affordable iPad Pro keyboard cases. But its flaws are quite annoying that low price does not matter.
Protective but chonki
Pro Keys 2 I am testing, especially designed for a 13-inch iPad Pro (M4, 2024), although you have an 11-inch iPad Pro (M4) as well as 13- and 11- Can also buy for both- inch iPad Air (M2). It consists of two pieces: case and keyboard.
Click on the keyboard using magnets and you can use iPad Pro like laptop. The setup looks more modern than the first generation Pro keys, with the option of a cycle between colors such as green, blue and red, instead of round funnel (which I like) and square. The bottom of each key is lightbalb, so it is bright enough to type in a deep environment. But parts of the keyboard (like side keys and function rox) are shiny shining compared to the qweerty key, so the light looks uneven. Adjusting the glow with the backlight key did not make much difference. Zag also added more surface area under the keyboard to relax its palms while typing.

It is comfortable to type for a long period (I used to type this review), although a trackpad would have cherry at the top, especially when there are many rooms (a trackpad version in the first-round model It happens). Even though I have been using the case for a few weeks now, I have been accidentally reaching the middle to swipe a fictional trackpad out of the habit. The keyboard is connected to Bluetooth, so you have to pair it with iPad (you can connect to two devices) and charge it. The Zagg battery claims up to one year of life, so you do not have to worry about plugging it continuously.
The second generation version has a slot on one side for Apple pencil, instead to keep it in place to flap. It is very aesthetically pleasing, but I want Zag to mix it in the matter. Instead, it is made of clear rubber similar to the bumper around the iPad and looks cheaper. The bumper also runs under the slot, but it will not be found in the way of wireless charging.
This case seems super protective, so that it sounds like many Ragged I have tested cases. In addition to the edges of the rubber, the rest of the case is made of plastic with soft, mat feel. The folio cover can be twisted back into a stand and adjusting to two angles. It was fine to watch TV (it was enough to stay straight on the couch without topping) and to use as a laptop. But it does not offer several angles as kickstand.
