“The Washingtonian,” in a statement by Bob Blair, the owner of Milli, recalled that the agent “all came to all public entrances at the same time.”
Blair slammed government inspections, saying, “We were under the assumption that they were trying to find criminals. And this is a new level of harassment for our hard work, law -following employees.”
DC Mayor Muril Boser weighed on the raid, “I have heard those reports. I am receiving them full morning. I am upset with them. It appears as if the snow is in the restaurant, or even in the neighborhood, and it does not seem that they are targeting criminals, and it seems that they are dismissing.”
Bausar said that DC law enforcement is not involved with raids in any way.
