The Israeli Foreign Ministry stopped another fleet trying to break the naval blockade of the country and reach Gaza, the Israeli Foreign Ministry called the effort a “fruitless effort”, which “nothing ended.” The ministry also said that ships and passengers have been transferred to the Israeli port and are safe and in good health. According to the ministry, passengers are expected to be deported immediately.
Quoting the Israeli Foreign Ministry, The Associated Press said that the fleet with nine boats was taking 145 activists participating in Freedom Floatilla Coalition and Thouzand Madlanes. Floatilla organizers said in a statement that the fleet was carrying a assistance amount of more than $ 110,000, which included drugs, respiratory equipment and nutritional supply for Gaza’s hospitals.

David Heip of Canadian boat and Freedom Floral Alliance Steering Committee for Gaza stressed that “Israel has no legal right to detain international volunteers aboard these ships.”
Heip said, “Our volunteers are not under the jurisdiction of Israel and cannot be convicted to provide assistance or challenge illegal blockade. Their custody is arbitrary, illegal and should end immediately.”

Israel claims that Gita Thangberg’s fleet, who is trying to break the Gaza blockade, is related to Hamas, cited documents

Thunberg was also riding on another fleet going to Gaza which was stopped in June. The climate activist stated that he was “abducted” by Israel, a comment that criticized those who had pointed to the plight of hostage in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
