BAM has appointed Harry Hartono, Yoh K Bin and Mohammad Zakari Abdul Latif as the new national coaches to boost player development and performance.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has appointed three new coaches to strengthen its national training structure.
BAM Performance Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Lee Chong Wei announced the strategic appointments today.
Harry Hartono has been appointed as the new men’s singles coach.

Yeo Ke Bin will play the role of junior men’s singles coach.
Mohammad Zakari Abdul Latif has been appointed as the new coach of women’s doubles.
Chong Wei said the appointments were made after discussions with Singles director Kenneth Jonassen.
“He submitted a list of coaching candidates with a focus on continuity for the young players,” Chong Wei said.
“We are both former players and understand the needs of coaches.”
He said Jonassen provided his thoughts on the most suitable roles for the new coaches.
Harry and Kay Bin will join the men’s singles coaching team led by head coach Datuk Teh Seu Bock.
He is the current coach of K. Yogendran will star alongside Alvin Chew and Goh Giap Chin.
Chong Wei expressed confidence in the experience and expertise of the new coaches.
He believes they will add significant value to the national training programme.
Their goal is to help produce players capable of consistently competing at the international level.
Chong Wei met with doubles director Rexy Mainaki regarding the women’s doubles appointment.
Chong Wei said, “He personally proposed Jacquerie as one of the candidates.”
Zachary will work with head coach Rosman Razak in the women’s doubles setup.
He will also collaborate with coaches Ching Kai Feng and Amelia Anselli.
All three coaches will officially take charge in February.
Yeoh K Bin will report for duty on February 3.
Harry Hartono will begin his role on February 10.
Mohammad Zakari Abdul Latif will start on 20 February. – Bernama
