It takes a lot of reason for an exchange like LME to delay it in the open. If I reduce some gold contracts, and asked the exchange to delay the open, while I scrambled to provide margin, they would laugh at me. But, if I was a whale …. Okay, maybe they would be more sociable. Just Spitballing here.
