“I am definitely not going out to drink at the end of this week. Things are worrying,” said 30 -year -old architect Rafael Martinez at Sao Paulo. “For now, I will rather stick to soda or, most, beer, which he said is difficult to tamper.”

Methanol is an industrial chemical that can cause nerve and liver damage and sometimes found in fake or poor distilled alcohol.
The owners of the restaurant are suspended the sale of liquor to assure nervous customers.
“No one bought a drink last night … I don’t even want to drink,” Nicolaos Lukopolos said, who runs a Greek restaurant in Sao Paulo. “With a beer, we are fine in this summer. Why give it a risk?”
Tourist Hot Spot Rio de Janeiro has not recorded any confirmed cases, but beach kiosks and restaurants have posted a warning on social media to calm the visitors.
