A Colombian senator and presidential candidate was shot in Bogota on Saturday, the government and his campaign said.
39 -year -old Miguel Uribe, Fontibon was hosting a campaign program in a public park in the neighborhood when “armed disciplines shot him in the back.”
His party described the attack as serious, but did not explain his situation in detail.

He is a member of the opposition right -wing Democratic Center Party, which was founded by Colombian President álvaro Uribe.
The party called the attack “an unacceptable act of violence”.

Videos on social media appeared to show Uribe after an attack in the blood with a possible head wound as people try to stop bleeding.

According to a report from Columbia, a suspect was detained, said the mayor of Bogota.
