After eight days of discovery in Tennessee County, a survived pet Zebra has again met with his owner.
The Rutherford County Sheriff Office announced in a Facebook post on Sunday that “Celebrity Zebra Ed” was “safely rescued”.
Officials wrote in the post, “Rutherford County Sheriff Office is happy to report the Tango 82 Aviation Crew at Zebra Ed and returned it to his owner on Sunday.”
Runway Zebra was found near the interstate 24 “in a pasture near the Buchanan Estates Subdivision,” Sheriff Office said.

Rescue videos show that “Zebra Ed” is being raised in the air by a helicopter outside a wild area.
According to officials, “Zebra Ed” originally reached Christiana on 30 May, and he was reported to be missing by his owner a day later.
Sheriff office It did not say how the owners got zebra, or where it was being kept at the time of its escape.

Deputies said that he ran into a wooden area from the interstate 24, where he was B. Jackson Parkway and Apps were seen by “havoc shouted” amidst exit from Mill Road.

Officials said that “Zebra Ed” was not seen again for several days after watching 31 May.
Prior to Sunday’s rescue operation, Ed was seen on Friday, June 6 again, in a ground near Ridwood Drive in Cristiana. Sheriff’s office announced that the depot saw it through a drone camera and was working with a veterinarian to safely protect the animal.

“We don’t want to scare Zebra,” RCSO CPL. Sean White said. “We need time to calm him.”
Sheriff’s office did not disclose what is next for “Zebra Ed”.
