Colorado jury has ordered a local theme park and others to pay $ 205 million to a 6 -year -old girl’s family, falling from a ride over 100 feet to her death.
The verdict issued on Friday in the Garfield County District Court is one of the biggest wrong death awards for a single plaintiff in the state’s history.
Wongel Estifanos, Colorado Springs, was visiting the Glenwood Cavarns Adventure Park with his family on Labor Day Weekend in 2021, when the tragedy hit a drop of the haunted mine.
The inquiry paper -reviewed by Fox News Digital Show, paperwork Estifanos was not properly put on his seat before the ride started.

Glenwood Caverns Marketing Director Kimberly Markam said in a statement that co-counterbet Soring Eagle Inc. had “built a boon to the haunted mine with a faulty restraint system, which caused this heart accident.”
Marks also indicated that the manufacturer had safely certified the attraction despite the defective restraint system.
“Our hearts go out for Wongel Estifanos’s family,” said Marakam, “Glenwood was searching for” all options “so that we could try to continue serving our guests, and continue to give back to the community.”

The prosecutors refused to carry out criminal allegations against Glenwood Cavors, which cited challenges in proving the mangelot, but the civil trial gave Estephanos’ family a day in court.
“They are grateful to the people of Garfield County for being kind to him during this long test,” Cap first said in her statement.
