The Ministerial Council of the European Space Agency – more formally the Ministerial Council – takes place on 26 and 27 November 2025 in Bremen, Germany.
The decisions taken in Bremen will shape ESA’s activities for the next three years, and mark an important stage in the implementation of ESA’s Strategy 2040. After extensive preparation with Member States, ESA Director General Joseph Eschbacher will present his proposal – boosting Europe’s future through space. This will then lead to negotiations and commitments from member states on membership of the various ESA programs – this is the money they will invest.
